Scholarship Description:
Professor Jun Xia’s research group focuses on synaptic function, particularly how protein transport regulates synaptic organization and its impact on learning, memory, and brain diseases. The group also investigates the molecular mechanisms of protein transport in disease contexts. With extensive experience in molecular biology, cell biology, and transgenic animal models, their work has been published in key journals such as Nature Neuroscience, Neuron, Journal of Clinical Investigation, and PNAS, making a significant impact in the field.
