Scholarship Description:
The laboratory of Dr. Menghao Huang at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) is inviting applications for a full-time, on-site Postdoctoral Fellow position in Indianapolis, IN. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in metabolic dysfunction-associated liver diseases.
Dr. Huang anticipates NIH funding soon, potentially as early as July or August.

Available Subjects:
- 1. Identification of key genes involved in the pathogenesis of human liver disease.
- 2. Investigation of how these molecular regulators contribute to hepatic fibrogenesis.
Eligibility criteria:
- PhD and/or MD in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Liver Biology, Metabolism, or a related field.
- Strong publication records appropriate for career stage.
- Expertise in molecular biology techniques; experience in liver disease or fibrosis research preferred.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience with mouse models is a plus.
